I'm Ian Adams and I live in the small village of Over in Cambridgeshire with my family and two dogs who can be seen here.

I have been interested in photography for several years and combine it with my other pastimes of walking and birdwatching.  Most of my photographs are taken in what I consider to be my local patches of South Cambridgeshire and the East Norfolk coast.  

The photographs are generally not altered or touched up, apart from cropping when necessary.   Any photos that have been digitally enhanced will be indicated as such in the narrative to the photo.

Why "Patterjack Photos"?  My eldest dog Joe, is a Jack Russell x Patterdale Terrier and these are often referred to as Patterjacks.  When trying to think of a name for my website it seemed such a natural choice as he enjoys my walks out with the camera as much as I do and as soon as I get the camera out he is waiting by the door ready to come with me.
